The EPS percentages are of your engagement, episode or weekly fee (caps
apply) and contributions start from day one of your engagement.
The Maze percentages are based upon the Statutory Minimums imposed
by the legislation which is on your annualised salary between £5,772 and
£41,865 (2014-15). It is possible that contributions will not be payable for up
to three months if you do not opt in.
EPS versus The Maze on a TV Fee of £1,000

On a Sub Rep Fee of £400
You £8.00 - Employer £12 / You £2.89 – Employer £2.89
In October 2017 your Maze contribution increases to 3% and to 5% in
October 2018. The employer contributions rise to 2% and then 3%.
